The UW-Eau Claire email system uses a Microsoft Exchange Server. This type of server stores your email messages, calendars, etc. on the server, instead of on your personal computer. This allows you to access your email from any computer with a network connection using Microsoft Outlook and/or Microsoft Outlook Webmail. This document provides instructions on configuring Outlook 2003 to connect to the Exchange Server.
NOTE: If you need access to your email and calendar from off campus and do not have access to Outlook, you can use Outlook Webmail. This requires a recent version of either Netscape or Internet Explorer. To access Outlook Webmail, refer to Accessing Outlook Webmail.
If your computer's settings and hard drive are cleared periodically and/or you have not used Outlook since it was installed, follow these steps to configure Outlook to connect to the Exchange Server.
