Enabling and Disabling AutoArchiving

You can enable and disable AutoArchiving on specific folders or on specific items. AutoArchiving can be disabled (but not enabled) universally. Disabling AutoArchiving universally will prevent AutoArchive from running on any folder. Some folders have AutoArchive disabled by default. For more information on AutoArchive defaults, refer to Working with AutoArchive Default Settings.
