The following document is designed to help you access images and graphics through the University website. When designing a web page for the University, you may want to include official UW-Eau Claire images or use University links for relevant and safe design choices.
You can access University graphics and images through the Web Development Tools page.
In Internet Explorer, access the UW-Eau Claire Web Graphics page
HINT: In your browser, type http://www.uwec.edu/Webdev/Style/graphics.htm
NOTES:
The yellow column on the left lists the name of each corresponding graphic.
The white column shows each graphic and displays its HTML code.
These instructions will explain how to use UW-Eau Claire Images and Graphics on your own page in FrontPage.
Under the desired graphic, select the HTML code
NOTE: Be sure to select all text within the scroll box.
From the Edit menu, select Copy
In FrontPage, place the insertion point where you want the image or graphic to appear
From the Edit menu, select Paste Special...
The Convert Text dialog box appears.
Under Convert text to, select Do not convert
Click OK
The desired image appears on the screen.
If the image does not load properly, you will see the following:
Click OK
The desired image appears on the screen.
