By using Entourage's Calendar feature, you can create a schedule of new and/or recurring events. An event can include appointments, meetings, and any other item you would like placed at a specific time in your calendar. This document explains how to schedule events.
You will need to access your Calendar in order to schedule a new event.
From the toolbar, click CALENDAR![]()
From the File menu, select New » Calendar Event
OR
Click NEW![]()
A New Event dialog box appears.

In the Subject and Location text boxes, type the appropriate information
Select the appropriate dates
From the Reminder drop-down menu, select the time increment you would like to use
OPTIONAL: To adjust how the appointment appears to others, on the toolbar click STATUS
» select the desired option
If appropriate, in the description text box, add a description or notes about the appointment
From the File menu, select Save
From the toolbar, click CALENDAR![]()
Adjust the view as needed

Using the arrows or your mouse, navigate to the day you would like to add an appointment to
Click in your calendar grid to select an event time
HINT: To select more than one increment of time, drag over the time period.
These areas will now become an untitled event.
Double-click the selected time period
A New Event dialog box appears with the Start and End fields already filled in with the appropriate date and time.
In the Subject and Location text boxes, type the appropriate information
From the Reminder drop-down menu, select the time increment you would like used
OPTIONAL: To adjust how the appointment appears to others, on the toolbar, click STATUS
» select the desired option
If appropriate, in the description area, add a description or notes about the appointment
From the File menu, select Save
Scheduling a recurring event is much like scheduling a new event. (For more information about scheduling a new event, refer to Scheduling a New Event.)
From the toolbar, click CALENDAR![]()
From the File menu, select New » Calendar Event

A New Event dialog box appears.

When finished, click OK
From the File menu, select Save
