Newsletter publishers create and distribute issues of a particular newsletter to the newsletter's subscribers. The Newsletter Manager allows publishers to find existing newsletters and edit their properties, as well as delete them.
NOTE: Access and options may be limited for some users, depending on the level of permissions you hold.
The Newsletter Manager uses the term Newsletter to refer to the publication as a whole. In order to search for a newsletter, edit its properties or delete a newsletter, you must access the Newsletters page.
Log in to the Administrative Home page
From the navigation bar, click NEWSLETTERS
The Newsletters page opens.
Search fields can be used individually or in combination. You can search for a newsletter by typing text in the Search text box or by using the pull-down lists to browse by:
You can change the name, category, organization, description, or sending email address of your newsletter.
Log in to the Administrative Home page
On the navigation bar, click NEWSLETTERS
The Newsletters page opens.
If necessary, use the Search tools to locate and display the newsletter you want to edit
For that newsletter, click EDIT NEWSLETTER![]()
The Edit a Newsletter page opens.
To change the name of the newsletter, in the Name text box, make the desired change
To change the audience, from the Digest Audience pull-down list, select the new audience
NOTE: The digest audience determines which digest your newsletter link appears in.
To change the organization, from the Organization pull-down list, select the new organization
To change the description, in the Description text box, make the desired changes
NOTE: This is what potential subscribers see. It is your chance to market your newsletter.
To change the sending email address, in the From Email text box, type the new email address
NOTE: This email address appears as the sender of your issues and will receive notice of undeliverable emailed issues.
To change the access type, in the Access Types section, select the new access type
Click CHANGE
If your newsletter has subscribers, you must unsubscribe them from your newsletter before it can be deleted. For more information, refer to Unsubscribing a Subscriber. When a newsletter is deleted, you will no longer have access to previous issues.
Log in to the Administrative Home page
On the navigation bar, click NEWSLETTERS
The Newsletters page opens.
If necessary, use the Search tools to locate and display the newsletter you want to delete
For that newsletter, click DELETE NEWSLETTER![]()
A confirmation dialog box appears.
To delete the newsletter, click OK
