Working with Reflection Statements
Web Portfolio allows you to add Reflection statements to artifacts you have uploaded. Not all academic programs require Reflection statements for portfolio items, however. It is important to note that if you ever remove an artifact, the Reflection statement will be lost. This document contains instructions on adding or editing Reflection statements.
Adding or Editing Reflection Statements
When you add a Reflection statement, the Reflection text box will be blank and when you edit it, the text box will already have the previously written Reflection statement in it.

From the Portfolio Menu, select View My Portfolio

Select the portfolio tab containing the artifact you would like to add a Reflection statement to
NOTE: If you can add a Reflection statement to an individual goal or task, the REFLECTION button appears after the artifact's name. -
Click REFLECTION
The Reflection dialog box appears.

In the Reflection text box, write or edit your Reflection statement

To save changes, click EDIT REFLECTION
OR
To cancel changes, click CANCEL

Artifact
A document that demonstrates accomplishment of a task or goal
Reflection Statement
Paragraph(s) written by the participant that evaluates, or reflects upon, the submitted artifact
Remove
To delete an artifact from a task or goal
Upload
Place a copy of a document and its related data from your H: drive or other storage location to the UW-Eau Claire's Web Portfolio system
