Removing an Artifact

Web Portfolio allows you to remove an artifact you may have uploaded for any goal.

Removing an artifact removes it from the task / goal, but does not delete it from the Web Portfolio system. The removed artifact can be accessed within the Web Portfolio system again by using the Replace function. Therefore, you cannot add another artifact with the same filename as any artifact that you remove.
Removing an artifact does not delete the artifact's Cover Sheet. The Cover Sheet remains with the artifact, which remains in the Web Portfolio system.
Removing an artifact does delete the Reflection Statement. If you want to preserve the Reflection Statement, copy and paste the text to a Word document before removing the artifact.
NOTE: Not all portfolio programs require reflection sheets.

WARNING: No confirmation dialog box appears.

Access Web Portfolio
From the Portfolio Menu, select View My Portfolio
Select the portfolio tab which contains the artifact
For the artifact you want to remove, under the Modify Artifacts column, click REMOVE
The window refreshes and the artifact has been removed.

Information about the participant and the artifact, as well as a brief description of the artifact

Reflection Statement
Paragraph(s) written by the participant that evaluates, or reflects upon, the submitted artifact
