The WebSurvey System provides a variety of tools which make creating and managing online surveys quick and efficient. This document describes the tools available from the My Surveys page.
The toolbar at the top of the screen contains buttons providing access to the features of the WebSurvey System. The toolbar is available from almost every screen as you work. This section describes the functions of the buttons found on the toolbar.

Libraries | Allows you to create a question set as a library item that can be used in future surveys. You can use it exclusively or make it available for others to use. This page also provides access to others’ public library items. |

Templates | Allows you to create a look (colors, fonts, header/footer) that can be used in future surveys. You can use it exclusively or make it available for others to use. This page also provides access to others’ public templates. |

Email Lists | Allows you to create a list of email addresses of people who you would like to complete your survey. Email Lists can be saved and used more than once. |

Reports | Takes you to the Reports page where you can view the responses to your survey in the form of an overview or individual responses. You can also export the data in a format that can be further analyzed. |

My Account | Takes you to the Edit Account Information page where you can change your UWEC password. |

Logout | Allows you to close your session and exit the WebSurvey System. |

Once you have created at least one survey, the My Surveys page will display a list of your surveys. That list contains links to information about your surveys as well as additional tools for managing them. This section describes the column headings and tools found under them.

Manage
In this column you will see either Open or Close. Open makes a newly created survey available for your respondents or re-opens a survey that has been closed so that you can accept more responses.
Status
In this column you will see either Design, Open, or Closed. Design indicates a survey that is still being edited and has not yet been made available to respondents. Open indicates an active survey; one that is currently available to respondents. Closed indicates a survey that was active, but is not currently accepting responses.
Title
Displays the name that you assigned to the survey. Clicking this linked text allows you to preview the survey.
Date Created
Displays the date was first created. This is not the same as the date you make it available to respondents.
This section describes the tools available for managing your survey.

Design
Takes you to the Modify Survey page where survey questions can be added, edited, and deleted.
Options
Takes you to the Survey Options page where the following options governing your survey can be set: start and end dates, the type of access you will allow or require (login, single or multiple responses, etc.), page and question numbering, access to results, and more.
Deploy
Takes you to the Survey Deployment page which provides links to use in deploying your survey by email invitation, as a link on a web page, or as a popup window on a web page.
Analyze
Takes you to the Survey Results-Overview page for the survey. This page provides frequencies for objective responses .
Clear Results
Deletes all existing responses to a survey. This is useful for clearing pre-test responses.
Delete Survey
Deletes the survey and all responses to it.
