With the WebSurvey System you can save time by copying existing questions and editing them to create similar questions. It is also easy to rearrange the order of questions.
If you have two items that are very similar, it can save time if, after creating the first item, you use a copy of it. Then, all you have to do is edit the copy slightly.
From the My Surveys page, for the appropriate survey, click DESIGN![]()
From the Modify Survey page, for the question you want to copy, click COPY
A copy of the question appears immediately below the original.
Click SAVE
As you review your survey or receive feedback on it, you may want to rearrange the order of your questions.
Use the arrows to move a question to a new location on the same page.
From the My Surveys page, for the appropriate survey, click DESIGN
From the Modify Survey page,to move a question up one, for the question you want to move,
click MOVE THIS ITEM UP ONE POSITION ![]()
From the Modify Survey page,to move a question down one, for the question you want to move,
click or MOVE THIS ITEM DOWN ONE POSITION ![]()
The MOVE button can be a more efficient way to move a question to a new location on the same page if that location is more than one position away. This option is also the one to use to move a question to a different page.
From the My Surveys page, for the appropriate survey, click DESIGN![]()
From the Modify Survey page, for the question that you want to move, click MOVE![]()
The Move Existing Item page appears.

From the Select Page pull-down list, select the page on which the item should be located
NOTE: The default is the page the question is currently located on.
From the Move Item Before pull-down list, select the question or item that you want the current question located before
Click MOVE
You are returned to the Modify Survey page. The question appears in its new location.
