A document banner has been developed to assist individuals using the wordmark and seal. Many Windows XP users will be able to access the templates with the document banner directly through Microsoft Word. If it is not available, you can download the template from this page.
There are two templates available:

Open Microsoft Word
From the File menu, select New...
In the New Document task pane, under New from template, select General Templates...
Select the UWEC Templates tab
Select either UWEC Doc Banner or UWEC Doc Banner Header as appropriate
Click OK
The file will appear on your screen ready for you to begin creating your file.
When downloading the template, it is recommended that you save it to your templates directory. This will give you easier access to the templates. For machines tested, the default location was:
My Network Places / Entire Network / Microsoft Windows Network / Uwec / software / officexp$ / UWEC Templates
Open Microsoft Word
From the Tools menu, select Options...
Select the File Locations tab
Note the location for User templates
If the entire location cannot be read,
To note the full location, click MODIFY...
When done, click CANCEL
Click OK
Right click the link for the template you want » select Save Link As...
The Save File dialog box appears.
Download the Doc Banner Header Template
If necessary, change the location where the file will be saved
If desired, adjust the filename
Click SAVE
Right click the link for the template you want » select Save Target As...
The Save As dialog box appears.
Download the Doc Banner Header Template
If necessary, change the location where the file will be saved
If desired, adjust the filename
