Cross Tabulations, or Cross Tabs, allow you to see and compare how a group of respondents answering one question also answered another question or questions in your survey. For example, you can find out the distribution of freshman, sophomores, juniors, and seniors answering your survey and how many in each class have an undeclared major.
Qualtrics makes cross tabs easy to create. You choose which question (and related choices) form the banner (column headings) and which question (and related choices) form the stub (rows labels). The information is displayed in an easy to read table.
In addition to the cross tab that is generated, Qualtrics also provides the following related statistics: Chi Square, Degrees of Freedom, and the p-value.
