As a survey system, Qualtrics is also capable of creating quizzes. If you have an assignment that involves an online quiz, this may be a good way to go about it.
Creating a quiz is essentially creating a survey and then applying grading options such as identifying the correct answers and assigning points.
Create a survey
Add desired questions
On the Edit Survey tab, from the Advanced Options menu, select Grading...
The Grading page appears.
OPTIONAL: To display quiz results to respondents, select the desired summary option(s)
NOTES:
An option is selected when a checkmark appears.
You may select both options.
These options provide feedback to respondents, telling them whether they answered correctly, and if not, which answer was correct. (See a description of these options.)

To indicate the correct answer(s) to a questions, click the choice(s)
An answer is selected when it turns green.
By default, a point value of 1 is assigned.
HINT: To de-select an answer, click it again.

Type the new point value

Test survey to make sure all coding is working properly
Restrict access to your quiz to identify and allow only one response per respondent
NOTE: This way, you will easily be able to see who has taken the quiz and what answers they provided.
Activate your quiz
Distribute your quiz
View results
(See a sample of quiz results.)
You can select one or the other of the options for quiz summaries, or you can select both. Here is a description of what you will see based on your selection(s):
Show End of Survey Summary (only)
When a respondent clicks SUBMIT at the end of the quiz, after answering the last question, the summary page returned shows points earned on the quiz out of total points possible for the quiz and the percentage correct. (View a sample of this summary.)
RECOMMENDED OPTION
Show Summary After Every Question (only)
If your quiz has multiple pages, when a respondent clicks SUBMIT at the bottom of each page, a summary of the questions on that page appears. For each question, it indicates either correctly selected answers (green checkmark) or incorrectly selected answers (red X) with the correct answer in light green text. This summary appears after each page is completed. (View a sample of this summary.)
RECOMMENDATION: Use this option with one-page quizzes only. Providing a summary after each page in a multiple page quiz may be disruptive to quiz takers.
Selecting Both Options
Question summaries appear after each page. After the question summaries of the final quiz page, a final page with the End of Survey Summary appears, providing a quiz summary and all question summaries.
NOT RECOMMENDED
Shown here are sample quiz summaries:
The End of Survey Summary shows points earned on the quiz out of total points possible for the quiz and the percentage correct. The quiz summary is followed by details for each question.

The After Every Question Summary shows the points earned out of the total points possible for the question. Correct answers are marked with a green checkmark and incorrect answers are marked with a red X, with the correct answer in light green text.

For the creator of the quiz, viewing the results is much like viewing any survey results. However, the correct answer(s) are indicated.
