The Environment

The Library Tab

Qualtrics provides three libraries:the Qualtrics library, the UWEC library, and your personal library. These libraries contain categories for surveys, questions, graphics, and messages. In all cases, the Qualtrics library contains preloaded options in each category. You can use your personal library to locate questions that you use repeatedly in surveys, (e.g., What is your current standing? Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, Senior), a custom end-of-survey message, or an image that you use frequently (e.g., program logo). Use the Library toolbar features to view and use preloaded and previously created survey information.

The following features will be explained in this document:

Button Name Description
Library Overview button Library Overview Displays the contents of the Survey Libraries, Question Libraries, Graphics Libraries, and Message Libraries.
Survey Library button Survey Library Displays all saved surveys in the Qualtrics' Global Library and your personal library by category, (e.g., demographics, travel).
Question Library button Question Library Shows all questions included in surveys categorized by what each question measures, (e.g., Awareness, Education). You can use and reuse these questions on multiple surveys.
Graphics Library button Graphics Library Shows all of the graphics used in previously created surveys and surveys in the Qualtrics' Global Library and your personal library. Use this option to include previously used graphics into your current survey project.
Message Library button Message Library Shows all messages inviting respondents to complete a survey, reminders, and the messages sent after they complete a survey.
