Viewing Online Presentations: An Overview

A PowerPoint Web Presentation is a PowerPoint presentation that is converted to a web page (i.e., HTML document) and graphic files. The HTML document and graphic files can then be copied to a web server and be accessed like any other web page. There are many benefits to online PowerPoint presentations in a web page format. First of all, you do not need to store the presentation on a disk or access a network drive to view it. The presentation is a few clicks away using your web browser.

Secondly, you benefit by being able to view the presentation more than once. Certainly you are not going to attend the same presentation numerous times or be able to write a complete set of notes on the presentation; however, if the presentation is on the Web, you can view the presentation at your convenience.
