Microsoft PowerPoint X Creating a Web Presentation

After you have created a presentation in PowerPoint, you have the option of saving it as a web page. By saving the presentation as a web page, you are able to copy it to a web server for online viewing. You do not need PowerPoint on your computer to view a PowerPoint Web Presentation.

  1. From the File menu, select Save as Web Page...
    The Save As dialog box appears.

  2. To change the Web Page title:
    1. Click WEB OPTIONS...
      The Web Options dialog box appears.

    2. Click the General tab
    3. Under Document description, in the Web page title text box, type the title of the presentation
    4. OPTIONAL: In the Web page keywords text box, type key words for your presentation
    5. Click OK

  3. To change the file name and location of the presentation:
    1. In the Save As text box, type the name of the file
    2. From the Format pull-down menu, verify that Web Page is selected
    3. Using the Where pull-down menu, navigate to the desired saving location

  4. Click SAVE
    Your presentation is now saved as a web page.
