This document includes information about additional features in Internet Explorer including:
A page is everything that can be seen without clicking a link. A page may be larger than your screen, in which case you will need to use the scroll bars to see all of it. Internet Explorer will always print the entire current page, so it is a good idea to check how large the page is before you start printing. For more information about printing, see Printing Options.

NOTE: If you clicked PRINT, the page will print without taking you to the Print dialog box.

If you want to view the source of a document to determine its HTML coding technique, you can access the source code for most web pages. In most cases, this will be a Windows Notepad window but may vary based on individual setup. When you are viewing the source code, you can copy information to be pasted in another file.
From the View menu, select Source
The source code will appear in a new window.
From the File menu, select Exit

If you locate a web page that you want to share with someone, you can send them the URL or email them the document.
NOTE: You must have an Outlook profile set up before you can send an email.
From the File menu, select Send » the desired option
A new message email will appear.
In the To text box, type the email address(s) you want to send the page to

As in a word processor, users can save information available through Internet Explorer to a file. You may save the hypertext mark-up language, called the source, or you may save only the straight text, called text-only. Unless you want the HTML code for the document, you should save the file as text-only. Both types of files can be edited in a word processor.
NOTE: Saving the HTML file does not include the images. The images need to be saved separately.
Open the document that you want to save
From the File menu, select Save As...
The Save As dialog box appears.
From the Save in pull-down list, select the drive where you want your file to be stored
In the File name text box, type an appropriate name for the file
From the Save as type pull-down list, select the appropriate file type

| Web Page, Complete | Saves the page so that it will display as it was originally viewed along with graphics and frames. |
| Web Page, HTML Only | Saves the page without graphics. HTML coding is preserved and the file can be opened in an editing program like Notepad. |
| Text File | Saves the content of the page as plain text. The file can be opened in a text editor like Notepad. |
Click SAVE
While it is easy to save pictures from the Internet, it is not always legal. Please review the guidelines listed on the page for usage. If no guidelines appear, you should contact the name listed on the web page to determine if it is legal for you to use the image.
Right click the image you want to save
The Quick menu appears.
Select Save Picture As...
The Save Picture dialog box appears.
From the Save in pull-down list, select where you want your file to be saved
In the File name text box, type an appropriate name for the file
Click SAVE
