Using Bookmarks

While browsing the Internet, you may wish to remember the location of certain sites so that you can easily return to them later. Netscape allows you to save these locations as bookmarks.

Saving a page that you wish to revisit can be done by creating a bookmark.

Creating a Bookmark: Menu Option

  1. From the Bookmarks menu, select Bookmark This Page

Creating a Bookmarks: Dialog Box Option

  1. From the Bookmarks menu, select File Bookmark...
    The Add Bookmark dialog box appears.

  2. In the Name text box, type a name for the new bookmark

  3. In the Location text box, type the URL for the new bookmark

  4. From the Create in section, navigate to the location where the bookmark is to be saved

  5. When finished, click OK

You can open a bookmark any time you have Netscape open by doing the following:

  1. From the Bookmarks menu, select the desired bookmark
