Netscape Navigator 7

Using AutoComplete

Location Bar AutoComplete is a feature that saves information typed into the Location Bar in Netscape Navigator 7. As you type the initial letters or numbers, Location Bar AutoComplete will present you with a pull-down list with appropriate choices that have been entered in the recent past. The list of matches is stored on your computer and encrypted to protect your privacy.

Location Bar AutoComplete can save the time and inconvenience of remembering different web addresses, but it also presents a privacy issue as any person using your computer will have access to recently visited websites.
