Keyboard Shortcuts

Keyboard shortcuts make quick navigation and functionality in Internet Explorer 7 possible. Instead of clicking options with the mouse, you can press combinations of keys to perform the same actions. This document provides instructions on some common and useful shortcuts.

Find a word or phrase on the current page [Ctrl] + [F]
Print the current page (accesses the Print dialog box) [Ctrl] + [P]
Zoom in [Ctrl] + [ + ]
Zoom out [Ctrl] + [ - ]
Zoom to 100% [Ctrl] + [ 0 ]
Refresh the page [Ctrl] + [F5]
Stop the requested page from downloading [Esc]
Open your Favorites [Ctrl] + [ I ]
Add the current page to your Favorites [Ctrl] + [D]
Open a link on a new tab (new page is on top/active) [Ctrl] + [Shift] + click
Open a link on a new background tab (current page remains on top/active) [Ctrl] + click
Open a new, blank tab [Ctrl] + [T]
