Previous versions of Internet Explorer often print web pages at exact size, which may cause you to use more paper than necessary. To prevent this problem, Internet Explorer 7 has introduced automatic page scaling. When printing a web page, Internet Explorer will automatically shrink the appearance of the page so that it will fit on as few pages as possible.
Open Internet Explorer to the page you would like to print
From the Command toolbar, click the PRINT arrow
» select Print Preview...
The Print Preview window appears.
