Internet Explorer favorites are used to save links to sites that you want to visit again. Creating a list of favorites allows you to visit those sites with a single click, rather than having to type the site's URL each time you want to visit it.

From the toolbar, click ADD TO FAVORITES
» select Add to Favorites...
The Add a Favorite dialog box appears.
OPTIONAL: In the Name text box, type a new name
NOTE: Favorites are listed alphabetically by the first word of the name.

For on-campus users, Favorites are stored on your H: drive: H:\Config\Internet Explorer. This location makes them available to you regardless of which network machine you are working on.
For home users, your Favorites are stored as part of your profile on your machine. While the location may vary, a common path to locate your Favorites is: C:\Documents and Settings\username\Favorites
If you cannot locate the path, you can do a search for Favorites with Windows Explorer.
