Forms: Formatting the Results Page

he default form results page can be formatted to compliment your website. Formatting applies only to the colors and background image; the actual layout of the page cannot be adjusted. If you are using a redirect page, you do not need to set these options.

When setting the colors, you will specify the color name or code. For additional information, refer to Colors and Backgrounds.

Inserting the Optional Hidden Form Fields

  1. Open the file containing your form or create your form

  2. Right click the form » select Form Properties...
    The Form Properties dialog box appears.

  3. Click ADVANCED...
    The Advanced Form Properties dialog box appears.

  4. Click ADD...
    The Name/Value Pair dialog box appears.

  5. In the Name and Value text boxes, type the name and value of the appropriate optional hidden form field

    Field Name Value
    background Specifies a background image for the default form results page
    bgcolor Specifies a background color for the default form results page
    text_color Specifies a text color for the default form results page
    link_color Changes the color of links on the default form results page
    vlink_color Changes the color of visited links on the default form results page
    alink_color Changes the color of active links on the default form results page

  6. Click OK
    You are returned to the Advanced Form Properties dialog box.

  7. Repeat steps 4-6 until you have entered all the necessary hidden form fields
    When finished, the Advanced Form Properties dialog box displays all optional hidden form fields you entered.

  8. Click OK

  9. Click OK
