The Manage Content pane provides a variety of tools for you to use in managing your course content. You can edit the details of each module or topic as well as reorganize them. This document contains information on the following topics:
The Manage Content pane provides tools for modifying the modules and topics of your course. For a description of the various buttons, refer to Content Management Buttons.
From the Course Home page, on the Navigation bar, click CONTENT
The Manage Content pane appears.
In the Manage Content pane are buttons for common management functions when working with your course content. This table shows the buttons and their functions.

| Opens the New Module pane, from which you can create a new module | |
| Opens the New Topic pane, from which you can create a new topic | |
| Opens the Add Multiple Topics pane, from which you can create a number of topics at one time | |
| Opens the Re-Order pane, from which you can adjust the order of modules and topics | |
| Opens the Edit Selected Items pane for the selected modules and/or topics | |
| Allows you to copy the selected items to the desired module which is selected from a pull-down menu | |
| Allows you to move the selected items to different areas within the content pane | |
| Allows you to delete the selected items | |
| Allows you to add a module to the course content | |
| Allows you to add a topic to the corresponding module | |
| Allows you to add multiple topics to the corresponding module | |
| Allows you to re-order the topics of the corresponding module | |
| Allows you to edit the corresponding topic or module |
The modules and topics in your course can be easily rearranged. You can modify either the order of topics and modules or move them to a new parent module.
Click RE-ORDER![]()
The Re-Order pane appears.

To specify the number of places to move an item, in the Sort Order pull-down menu, select the desired placement
HINT: To expand a module, click EXPAND![]()
When finished, click SAVE
The Content Manager pane refreshes to show the new order.
Select the desired topics
HINTS:
A topic is selected if a checkmark appears next to its title.
You can select topics only under the same module.
Click MOVE![]()
The Move Selected Items dialog box appears.

From the New Parent Module pull-down list, select the desired new parent module
Click MOVE
The Manage Content pane refreshes to show the moved topic(s).
The modules and topics of your course can be easily edited. You are able to edit the titles and content within the Manage Content pane.
In the row that corresponds to the desired topic or module, click EDIT![]()
The Edit pane appears.
In the appropriate text boxes, make any desired changes to the title or short title
Click SAVE
The Content Manager refreshes to show the changes.
You can edit content only in HTML documents.
In the row that corresponds to the desired topic or module, click EDIT![]()
The Edit pane appears.
In the HTML editor, make the desired changes

Click SAVE
