D2L Core Skills for Online Instructors

The Online Course Support Team in the College of Business is implementing the following D2L Core Skills in the best interest of our online instructors. As the number of online courses grows, so do the numbers of instructors and students we must serve. The Online Course Support Team is now spending more time troubleshooting and solving problems on behalf of our users, as well as spending time researching new tools and strategies that instructors and students can use to enhance the online learning experience. In addition, many instructors work on their courses when the Online Course Support Team is not available.

To make the best use of your time and ours, we are asking that online instructors learn the basic functions of the most commonly used tools in D2L. You may already have the skills to use most or all of the following tools. If you are not comfortable with any of these tools, the D2L Online Course Support Team will happily help you learn any of the D2L Core Skills on the list.
