Instructors can use the Dropbox to receive electronic assignments from students. It allows the students to turn in their digital assignments and retrieve graded files. Also, the student is allowed to view feedback from the instructor and to see a list of submitted files in the folder(s).
Turn in assignment(s) in the appropriate folder by following these steps.
NOTES:
File names should not contain the following special characters: * / : > < | | ' & : # { } ".
File names may contain underscores and hyphens.
From the Course Home page, on the Navigation bar, click DROPBOX
The Dropbox Folders pane appears.
Click the name of the folder for your assignment(s)
The Submit Files pane appears.
Click ADD A FILE
The Submit a File dialog box disappears.
Click BROWSE...
The Choose file dialog box appears.
Navigate to the desired file
Click OPEN
Click UPLOAD
OPTIONAL: To leave a comment about this file, in the Comments text box, type your message
When finished, click SUBMIT
Repeat steps 3-9
You can view all the files that have been submitted to the instructor in the student Dropbox.
From the Course Home page, on the Navigation bar, click DROPBOX
The Dropbox Folders pane appears.
Click HISTORY
The Submission History pane appears.
NOTES:
A list of submitted files appears in each folder.

To open the file from its location, click OPEN
Click CLOSE
You can view feedback from the instructor(s) about the file(s) you submit in the Dropbox.
From the Course Home page, on the Navigation bar, click DROPBOX
The Dropbox Folders pane appears.
In the desired folder's row, click VIEW![]()
The View Feedback pane appears.
NOTE: You can view the feedback only if the VIEW
icon appears in the Feedback column.
