To help organize your survey's questions, you can create sections relating to each different survey topic. This document will help you create questions and understand what question styles are available to you.
Sections help you organize your survey. You can divide the questions within a survey by their contextual topic or by type (e.g., True/false, multiple choice).
From the Course Home page, on the Navigation bar, click SURVEY
The Manage Surveys pane appears.
From the Current Surveys section, click the name of the appropriate survey
The Edit Survey pane appears.
Select the Layout/Questions tab
Click ADD/EDIT QUESTIONS
From the Create New pull-down menu, select Section
![]()
Click GO
The New Section pane appears.

In the General section, in the Section Name text box, type a name for the section
OPTIONAL: In the Message text box, type the desired section message
In the Display Options section, select your preferred options
HINT: An option is selected if a checkmark appears before it.
