Quizzes: Permitting Multiple Attempts
If you would like to allow students to take a quiz more than one time, you can permit multiple attempts.

From the My Home page, in the My Eau Claire Courses widget, select the desired course
The Course Home page appears. -
From the Course Home page, on the Navigation bar, click QUIZZES
The Manage Quizzes pane appears. -
Click the quiz to be modified
The Edit pane appears. -
Select the Attempts tab
The Attempts options appear.

From the Attempts Allowed pull-down menu, select the desired number

From the Overall Grade Calculation pull-down menu, select the desired option:
Option Description Highest Attempt
Uses the student's highest score Lowest Attempt
Uses the student's lowest score Average of all Attempts
Uses an average of the scores from the student's multiple attempts First Attempt
Uses the student's first score Last Attempt
Uses the student's final score

Click SAVE QUIZ
The number of attempts allowed is modified.
