Sections provide a way to organize questions in the Question Library. To help organize your questions, you can create sections relating to each quiz or exam, or to the type of question. This document will help you with the process of creating sections.
From the Course Home page, on the Navigation bar, click QUIZZES
The Manage Quizzes pane appears.
Click QUESTION LIBRARY![]()
The Question Library pane appears.
From the Create New pull-down menu, select Section
Click GO
The New Section pane appears.
In the General section, in the Section Name text box, type a name for the section

OPTIONAL: In the Message text box, type the desired text
HINT:
Your Message can be made visible to students (refer to step 9).

OPTIONAL: In the Private Comments text box, type the desired text
HINTS:
Private Comments are not visible to your students.

OPTIONAL: To add an image,
To specify the items to appear in the section, in the Display Options section, select the desired option(s)
HINT: An option is selected if a checkmark appears before it.
NOTE: To display a message from step 6 or image from step 8, select display message and image.


Click SAVE
The new section is created and added to the Question Library pane.
