The Manage Dates tool allows you to view and change the availability dates for a variety of course objects, including items in Content, Discussions, Dropbox, Grades, and Quizzes. It can also be used to add or remove those objects from the Schedule. This tool could be particularly helpful if you have copied components from a previous course.
From the desired course, on the Navigation bar, click EDIT COURSE
The Course Administration pane appears.
From the Tools section, click MANAGE DATES
The Manage Dates pane appears.
By default, the Manage Dates tool displays all the course objects from Content, Discussions, Dropbox, Grades, and Quizzes. This can be overwhelming when you are looking for a particular object. You can filter the results so that there are fewer results to sort through.
Use these options to look through objects for a specific tool.
In the Filter Options section, for Tools, select Specific Tools
The Specific Tools options no longer appear in gray, but in black.

Deselect any undesired tools
NOTE: An option is selected when a checkmark appears before it.

Click APPLY FILTER
The page refreshes and only items from the selected tool(s) appear.
Use these options if you know the name, start date, or end date of the object you want to view or edit.

If an object already has a start or end date, you can shift those dates by however many days you choose. Perhaps you have decided to extend a unit by a week; instead of selecting the date in the Edit Selected Dates dialog box, you can choose to offset the end date by 7 days in the Offset Dates dialog box.
NOTES:
To offset a start or end date, a start or end date must have been previously set.
To set a later date, type a positive number (e.g., 7); to set an earlier date, type a negative number (e.g., -7).
