Emailing the Members of a Group

With one click you can easily address an email to group members. For more information on using email, refer to Sending Email in Desire2Learn.

NOTE: A copy of your message does not, by default, appear in your Sent Items.

  1. From the Course Home page, on the Navigation bar, click GROUPS
    The Manage Groups pane appears.

  2. Select your group
    A group is selected when a checkmark appears before the name of the group.

  3. Click EMAILEmail selected group button
    A Compose New Message window appears addressed to the selected group's members.

  4. Complete the text of the email

  5. Click SEND
    The email is sent to the selected group.
