Sending PDFs to Duplicating

You can send PDF files to University Printing Services to be duplicated. This document explains how to prepare the file and submit your request.

Duplicating a PDF file can be done by completing the Printing Services Duplicating Request form and emailing the file(s) to University Printing Services. In addition to completing all other pertinent information, in the Special Instructions field, note that you emailed a PDF file and write the name of the file. Attaching a hard copy of your document to the Request form is recommended.

NOTE: You can obtain a Printing Services Duplicating Request form from University Printing Services in Davies Center 119.

Retaining Your PDF File

The PDF file will be saved for about two weeks. If you expect that you will be reprinting the document, you can request the file be saved by completing an Electronic File Storage form (ask the University Printing Services staff for a form).

The next step is to send the file electronically to duplicating.

  1. If you are a faculty member, send an email to printingservices@uwec.edu
    OR
    If you are a student or have a non-campus account, send an email to printingdavies@uwec.edu

  2. In the Subject line, clearly reference the job name
    EXAMPLE: PDF for "Duplicating Documents"

  3. Attach the appropriate PDF file to the email message and send

  4. Deliver the Request form to University Printing Services in Davies Center 119
