Primary Structure of Erabutoxin B[4]
Erabutoxin b is a short chain protein consisting of 62 amino acids.
The blue colored amino acids indicate those that are invarient in all cardio and neurotoxins.

The pink colored amino acids represent functionally invarient amino acids in all neurotoxins. This means that if any of these are modified in any way the neurotoxin is no longer active. Since many of the physiological affects are from the neurotoxins modification of these amino acids inactivate the venom all together.
