LUKE WATSON WINS JR. MEN's 8K TITLE Notre Dame Freshman Luke Watson seperated himself from his World Championship teammates over the final 300 meters. A large pack of a dozen runners remained in contention halfway through the race. Local prepster Adam Tenforde (3rd at Footlocker) went to the fore at 5K - and pulled six runners clear of the pack on the final 2K lap. Arizona State teammates Isiah Festa (3rd) and Fasil Bizunch (4th) pressed the pace on the final lap, but collegians Luke Watsin (1st) and Steve Slattery (2nd) prevailed on the run-in. Two preps rounded out the World Champs Jr. team-- Foot Locker champ Jorge Torres (5th) and Tenforde (6th).
