Spirit is an essential element of any conference. Each school and delegate is encouraged to participate in the expression of their spirit in many ways. School spirit points are earned for the following:

• Best School Banner (Large and small school)

• Best School Display (Large and small school)

• Most Spirited Delegation (Large and small school)

• Top Ten Programs

The winning banner, display, and spirit will be selected based on the following criteria:

Banner

Banners must be within the dimensions of: 4ft by 4ft, and contain grommets.

40pts Creativity/Originality

20pts Aesthetic value/General appearance

30pts Relation to Conference Theme

10pts Visibility of School Name and/or RHA

100pts Total

Display

Displays must be within the dimensions of: 2ft wide by 2ft long by 3ft high and be made entirely of cleaning products and packaging.

20 pts for creativity/originality

20 pts for relation to the conference theme

20 pts of aesthetic value

20 pts for school descriptiveness

10 pts for relevant info available about the school

10 pts about relevant info available about the school's res. hall and campus wide government (handouts, leaflets, etc.)

10pts Unity (Is the delegation together and coordinated?)

10pts Bids (Is the school bidding for regional office, conferences, or other awards?)

10pts Quality programs (Are the delegates presenting programs relating to the conference?)

10pts Participation (Do the delegates attend programs as well as social events? Does the NCC attend and participate in meetings?)

10pts Display/Banner/Roll Call (Do the display, banner, and roll call follow criteria?)

20pts Enthusiasm (Are the delegates excited about attending the conference? Are they proud of their school?)

10pts Registration (Did the school complete all the necessary steps for registration?)

20pts Philanthropy (Did the school participate in the regional philanthropy?)

Accessibility

All individual needs will be met as requested. Davies and Schofield are ADA and handicap accessible. An ASL translator will be provided upon request, as will wheelchair ramps where needed. All buildings have elevators and are fully accessible.
