Golden Key Executive Board Meeting Minutes

- November Activities
- General meeting on November 14 th at 6pm: we will be bowling at hilltop
- 5 th grade essay contest: essays are due on November 18 th; we will be setting up a time to read them once we have an idea of how many entries there are (possible dates are December 1 st, 5 th, or 8 th); also plan to make certificate for winner
- Induction ceremony and brunch is November 20 th @ 11 am
- December Activities
- Executive meeting on December 8 th @ 4:30
- Community Table on December 9 th
- General meeting on December 12 th at 6pm: we plan on making Christmas cards
- Some night during finals week we’ll have a treat night for GK members
- Activity updates
- 35 baby books were ordered for our Book Ends program and should be in this week
- Hope to start contacting schools in December for the Grad School Expo
- Need to set a date to visit Pen Pals at Dove (tentative date is Dec. 3 rd)
- Induction Ceremony
- We still need 2-4 non-officers to work the registration table
- Tom will ask his brother to play piano at ceremony
- Lori will be contacting honorary members this week
- Officers need to e-mail Lori if they will not be attending ceremony and/or if they don’t want to speak at ceremony
- Officers also need to send Lori their name, officer position, year in school, and future plans
- Upcoming meetings about ceremony: Thursday, November 10 th at 4:30, Monday, November 14 th after bowling, and a run-through Thursday, November 17 th at 4:30
