- Most of meeting devoted to making cards for residents of Eagleton
- Discussed October activities
- Make a Difference Day/Tidy up the Town: Saturday, October 29 th from 10am-1pm (rake leaves for local homebound elderly); a lady from Trinity Healthcare will be speaking to us about the issues that homebound elderly face
- Book Ends Program: bought $200 worth of books for babies at Sacred Heart hospital; pen pals and bingo with local assisted living facilities
- After School Enrichment: only 2 people have contacted school
- November activities planned
- Selling hurricane Katrina wristbands on Nov. 9 th & 16 th
- 5 th Grade essay contest: 1 st place will receive $100 towards class education activity; 2 nd and 3 rd will receive $50; judging will be around Thanksgiving
- Induction ceremony is planned fro Sunday, November 20 th
- Next general meeting we will most likely be bowling at hilltop
