- Reviewed new chapter standards to receive silver, bronze, or gold status. Let's go for the gold!
- Country specific initiative- “Help America Vote College Program”
- reach out to get college students to be poll workers
- committee of six people should be formed

- Goals for 2004-2005
- Increase attendance and participation through 3-4 service events, collaboration with other Honors Societies, fun activities, a point award system, and FOOD!
- Improve the initiation ceremony to increase attendance by inductees and parents. Plans are to change date to a Sunday and have a raffle at the event.
- Increase the budget of the organization to provide bigger scholarships and money for conferences.
- Semester dates for 8:15 Executive Meetings: Oct.4, Nov.1, and Nov.29
- First general Member meeting on Sept. 14 at 8pm

- System of awards and points
- 10 points a year is needed to be considered an active member, thus making a member eligible for scholarships
- after a person has achieved 10 pts. there will be prizes for certain levels of participation. Ideas include a free dinner, raffle, and free graduation cords.

- participating in a service or social activity = 2pts
- going to a conference = 4pts
