Eau Claire: Persons without Phones
Many people in Eau Claire have phone service. However, there are a
few people who don't have a phone service for whatever reason- Between 100 to 177 persons in Northside Hill and River Fronts Area have no phone service. This could be due to the area being populated by low income people and Hmong who would not have the resources for phone services or no need for a phone.
- The areas with less than 10 people without phone services are in the suburbs or in areas where they need and are able to afford phone services.
- The US Census stated that the person "had telephone service if cell phones were used by household members", thus including cell phones in this survey
