Thin clapboard and wide clapboard are the most common
primary
materials used on the exterior of a house. Aluminum siding
is important as both a primary and secondary material. Older homes
may have been created on with aluminum siding and newer homes are usually
built with aluminum siding., bricks, cutstone, and
stucco are combined with primary wall materials to accent parts of
the house -- corners, doors, and windows.
