Light
colored bricks characterize the 1950s and the early 1960s.
Approximately 60% of yellow brick walls were constructed from 1950-1969.
These bricks were frequently used as facades in the front of houses,
particularly under large picture windows.
A map of Eau Claire shows that
yellow bricks are mainly in the suburban areas
constructed during
the 1950s and 1960s.
