Japanese Internment Camps

Examine the layout of the camps and look at the inside of a residential unit (20 x 24 ft).

Answers: water tower, sewage treatment ponds, and former dirt roads

The U.S. Army recruited Japanese in the camps (1,500 men volunteered) to fight in Europe for freedoms that they and their families were denied at home! Japanese-American soldiers had very high causality rates, as military cemeteries document.
