Human Geography

1. Geographers study three kinds of spaces and their content on earth:
A) places, e.g., New York City
B) regions, e.g., the Islamic world
C) spatial networks, e.g., global trade

2. Geographers
describe and explain the distributions and interrelationships of human and environmental characteristics across the global. Humans have created enormous variety of cultural practices  from food production to religions in very specific places.
