My family and I moved to Winter, Wisconsin, four years ago when my husband was offered a 4th grade teaching position at Winter. We love the northern woods and it's been a great place to raise our four children that are all in school now! Winter School has been offered an awesome opportunity to have the GEAR UP program to help students gain early awareness for post-secondary training which include tech schools, 2 year colleges, 4 year colleges and the military.

I am a first generation graduate from University of Northern Iowa with a bachelor's degree in education, a health minor and a driver's education and coaching endorsement.

The WINGS group at Winter is designed to encourage all students to look at their passions and interests and then see how they can be used as a road map for their future career options. Our program is designed to provide resources and opportunities for students and their parents to be exposed to various higher education opportunities.

It is our goal that all students will think, I CAN, I WILL TRY, and I WILL USE MY RESOURCES to make my dreams become a reality.
