College Coaches

College Coaches is a program that connects first-year students with an employee of the college (College Coach). A coach will listen to their student, help them clarify any issues, and help keep them on-track, motivated, and connected. They may also refer their student to the appropriate college resource when needed.

Any UW - Eau Claire employee (classified staff or unclassified staff) can serve as a College Coach. The time commitment is minimal and the benefits are limitless.

To apply to become a College Coach, please print, complete, and campus mail the College Coach Application Form to the following address to the Director of FYE, 130 Phillips Hall. The deadline for fall enrollment is typically around May 1 of the prior academic year.
