This case study study on the city of Miami addresses these four questions:
bullet What was the historical development of the city?
bullet What are the relative size, geographic distribution, income, education, and other characteristics of the minority population?
bullet What is the structure of city government and what are the racial and ethnic characteristics of its elected officials?
bullet What issues are of particular importance to the city minority groups and what are the cross-group coalitions and conflict?
