"The Blugold Marching Band is a creative outlet, a social network, and a place to feel included and give back to your community. Being in the band made me realize that I have the capability to be more selfless than I imagined; it gave me the chance to better myself as a person and musician."

"The Blugold Marching Band was one of the main reasons I chose UW-Eau Claire. This past season I was given a leadership position in the band and I've truly grown as a person because of it. We believe in having fun in rehearsal and performance, but we know when it's time to get down to business."

"The band has given me hands-on experience that I can put to use in my future career. We don't win trophies, get scored, or compete; our sole purpose is to have a good time and make our audiences' day better! We live to spread the love of being a Blugold."
