Veterans Center Support Fund Established

Recently the UW-Eau Claire Veterans Center was established as a place of welcome for veterans on campus and as a place where veterans can connect to resources specifically for them.

Funding through the UW-Eau Claire Foundation's Schnack Fund has provided equipment in the new center.

The Veterans Center provides programming addressing veteran needs, access to a telehealth network through a partnership with the Minneapolis Veterans Administration Hospital, meeting space for veteran support groups and a place for veterans to interact.

There are many opportunities to support the Veterans Center through a gift to the UW-Eau Claire Foundation. The center needs funds for furniture, computers, a printer and funds to support scholarships for child care, tutoring and emergency needs.
