
Please help support the outstanding learning environment in the
UW-Eau Claire biology department through your gift to the UW-Eau
Claire Foundation. Your gift to any of the following funds will
help enhance student learning experiences and provide valuable
faculty resources. The amount in parentheses indicates the annual
amount required to meet current obligations:

Funds for department advancement that increase opportunities
for excellence in teaching, scholarship and community outreach
(gifts of any amount).

Funds to support existing undergraduate scholarships (gifts of any

Support, or grant matches, for permanent equipment that enhances
faculty-student collaborative research, such as
a computerized physiological recording lab ($15,000) or environmental growth chambers ($30,000 each).

Funds to establish and develop innovative labs in cell and
environmental biology ($5,000 each).

Funds to establish a Faculty Opportunity Fund to reward faculty
for excellence in teaching, faculty-student scholarship and advising
($1,500).

Funds to provide a stipend and/or release time for faculty
research mentors of student research scholarship awardees ($1,000).

Funds to provide an advising coordinator and center to support
the Kincaid Pre-med Student Scholar ($2,500).

Funds to provide furniture and lighting for study areas in
Phillips Science Hall ($5,000).
