Investing in the Department of Business Communication

Please help support the outstanding learning environment in the UW-Eau Claire foundations of education department through your gift to the UW-Eau Claire Foundation. Your gift to any of the following will help enhance student learning experiences and provide valuable faculty resources. The amount in parentheses indicates the annual amount required to meet current obligations.

  • Provide support for students to attend conferences and participate in other professional development activities ($500-$1,000).
  • Fund housing for students between the end of the UW-Eau Claire semester and the end of their student teaching semester ($500-$1,000).
  • Fund travel expenses for student teachers who have to drive long distances between home and their teaching assignment
    locations ($100-$500).
  • Fund travel expenses for students to participate in diversity immersion trips to foster their understanding of diverse cultures($500-$15,000 to endow).
  • Fund upgrades or replacement of technology for teaching and research (gifts of any amount).
  • Fund visits of local authors and illustrators to interact with students in the classroom ($100-$500).
  • Support the Foundations of Education Advancement Fund, which provides support for faculty travel to professional meetings (gifts of any amount).
