Empowering Lives Together: Campus Campaign 2006-07

• Mark your calendar: The UW-Eau Claire Foundation will host its annual Faculty/Staff Appreciation Luncheon Thursday, Feb. 15, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Council Fire Room-Willow Lounge, Davies Center. Come when you can and stay as long as you are able! • Remember that giving can have a domino effect. One donor's generosity can inspire others to give, as was the case when an anonymous donor's support made it possible for a UW-Eau Claire music professor and five students to travel to and perform in China. • The Eau Claire Student Nurses Association is one of a handful of student organizations that have established scholarship funds to which faculty and staff can lend their support. • The Chancellor's Fund for Community Dialogue is one option for faculty and staff deciding where to direct their Campus Campaign contributions.

We stand proud to be part of the UW-Eau Claire community that is dedicated to excellence. You prove that commitment every day through your hard work, and you reinforced it with your positive response to the Campus Campaign 2007. We are grateful to be part of such a passionate and engaged group.

As we approach the end of the Fulfilling the Promise of Excellence campaign, we are pleased that nearly $1.5 million of the campaign total has come from our faculty and staff. Thank you for your gifts and the tremendous impact on the people and programs at UW-Eau Claire.

We want to extend a special thank you to those who attended the Feb. 15 Faculty-Staff Appreciation Luncheon. More than 380 attended last week's event. Save Feb. 21, 2008, as the date for next year's luncheon.

Please remember that all gifts to the Foundation through June 30, 2006, will be recognized in Campus Campaign 2006-07 totals. If you have not done so already, please consider making a gift and help us top the $1.5 million mark before Dec. 31.
